Care Labeling Code:
Care label means
a label attached to a garment or fabric giving the manufacturer’s
instructions for its care and cleaning. In July 1972, the Federal Trade
Commission (FTC) adopted its Care Labeling Rule concerning textile
clothing and certain piece goods. The Rule made it easier for the
consumer, professional launderer, and drycleaner to determine proper
